A homemade tea blend is such a lovely gift around the holidays. It’s the time of year when all we want do is be in a cozy place with the ones we love, feeling warm and cared for. Tea is a beautiful way to add to the atmosphere, and today I’m sharing a simple way to package homemade tea for the holidays: in test tubes!
I acquired a bunch of test tubes a few weeks ago and have been trying out new ways to use them ever since (like this). They’re the perfect size for a serving or 2 of tea, and they just look so adorable with dried herbs in them.
First, for the blend. You can have fun experimenting with different types of flowers, spices, and other ingredients for your tea. I think that peppermint, cloves, cinnamon, and orange peels are great to use for the holiday season! For mine, I finally decided on a mix of peppermint, hibiscus, chamomile, lavender, and cloves.
Now, here are the easy peasy steps for packaging your tea! A huge shout out to our graphic designer Jenny for making these adorable illustrations for me. :)

This is so creative, such a cute packaging idea! For holiday gifts, I would probably fill the test tubes with hot chocolate mix, too!
Hi there just wanted to give you a brief heads up and let you know a
few of the images aren’t loading properly. I’m not sure why but I think its
a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different
web browsers and both show the same results.
