Go the blues, eh? Initially a word that conjures thoughts of sadness or time spent in a dark depressive hole. Not here… we are turning the blues right-side up. Here we’re painting The Blues with vast skies and endless opportunities to fly your own dreams and ambitions high. Nothing’s holding you back, time to wander away, take flight, dream big… fly far. Having the blues… really… ain’t so blue after all.
Dress these up, down, left, right… there is no wrong when you have the perfect hue of blue. Buy that old van you’ve been painting perfect in your mind, grab your greatest loves, fill up the tank… drive. Anywhere unknown, anywhere that has no promises or given expectations. Cross those state lines with old rock n’ roll blaring on a cassette tape you made years ago (ok, a CD at least), one that you’ve since flipped from side A to B countless times. Go back in time… to a place where, like Blues music, there were only the roots. No technology/playlists/internet streaming. Stick to the radio… listening to what the locals of each town you pass have to say.
Bare feet on the dash… windows rolled down… I choose to open the door wide for these here blues.
Much Love.
x Amy
