I love making playlists to coincide with different celebrations and moments in life. I used to sit for hours making mix tapes on cassette, picking out the perfect songs and making sure they were in the right order. For this playlist I chose a mixture of feel-good songs that will get your hips shaking, and songs that symbolize a clean, fresh start for the New Year. I always adore your passion for playlists, FPJ! I am the same way – always need the right mix for the right occasion – in fact, much to my friend’s chagrin, I still call them mix-tapes. Sometimes I wish I’d kept my old boombox and they were the real deal – complete with my voice-overs between songs of special relevance. haha
