NYE Inspiration: Rebel Rising Hair & Makeup

Rebel Rising is the name of our newest lookbook, and it features the lovely Charlotte looking sexy as ever in skin-baring sheer fabrics in a dark color palette with lots of shine. I am totally in love with the hair and makeup from this shoot… the loose waves, the rockstar updo, the glittered eyes… It’s fun and provocative — and excellent inspiration for your New Year’s Eve festivities.┬áHave a glimpse behind the scenes of the shoot — and read on to hear what products were used, from makeup artist Deanna Hagan herself!

“Charlotte gave us a Joan Jett vibe, provoking fantasy cool. Jeweled black punk brows, broken golden metallic lids with glowing skin was the look.

First, we layered NARS Luminous moisture cream with tinted moisturizer, then applied Too Faced glitter glue to brows and lids, pressed and layered glitter on top. The gold glitter varied in shapes and sizes giving a broken glass effect. Lips were completed by pressing NARS matte lip pencil in Belle du Jour.” — Deanna Hagan, Makeup Artist.
