There’s something incredibly desirable about a room filled with eclectic décor. Each piece tells a different story… about where it’s been, what it’s seen — and together they create a bigger, more broad story… one that we get to experience visually as we look around, taking in all of the different colors, textures, and styles.
Whenever I go treasure hunting – whether to a thrift store, a flea market, or any kind of boutique – kitchenware is always on my mind. I picture everything from intimate gatherings with friends to large celebrations with those yet to be friends, and I get so much joy in picking out every piece. I choose pieces that speak to me… and I usually don’t buy more than 2 of the same one. This way, my collection is filled with uniqueness – and I’ll never get bored.
This also makes it quite easy to create an eclectic feel at the dining room table. The key? Don’t allow any two place settings to look the same. Mix up the elements, combining different colors and textures. Treat each setting as its own masterpiece; have a different vision for each. And most of all… have fun. Don’t think too much. Just do what you feel. You’ll likely be very happy with what results.

Absolutely gorgeous! I haven’t started working on my kitchen yet but I envision something just like this, mismatched heirloom china, glassware and silverware with lots of different shapes and textures. Very boheme.
These are great! Thanks for the ideas. Such a good thoughtful but casual vibe.
I absolutely love these! My sisters and I are currently planning a little surprise for our lovable parents who are celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary in a couple months and I’m really considering these table settings for the night event! This is awesome, thanks so much for sharing x

Such a wonderful sense of style! I love the rustic outdoorsy feel of these place settings; it feels as if this is a picnic in a fairy tale woodsy setting. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous arrangements!!!
