2 Delicious Valentine’s Day Spritzers

Valentine’s Day is a day to celebrate love — whether that love is for a person, a place, or for your life as a whole. To help get you in the celebrating mindset, we’ve partnered with our friends at Terrain to give you two delicious recipes for Valentine’s Day spritzers. I took a trip out to their beautiful store last week , and their drink-making expert Susan whipped these right up!

First up, RoseBerry Fizz.

Vday spritzer
Ingredients:

5 raspberries
1 teaspoon sugar
1 ounce Raspberry & Rose Cordial
6-8 ounces champagne, prosecco, or dry sparkling white wine
Culinary rose petals for garnish

Directions:

1. Muddle raspberries and sugar in a glass. Muddling with sugar helps the raspberries to better release their flavors.

Vday spritzer 2. Add in the cordial, followed by the champagne, prosecco, or dry sparkling white wine. Susan used sparkling white wine from Spain.

Vday spritzerSprinkle some culinary rose petals on top, and pop in a floral straw with a raspberry on top for a homemade stirrer!

3. Fill the glass with ice, then add Limoncello. Top with Elderflower & Rose Presse.

Vday spritzer4. Garnish with a thin slice of lemon and floral straw.

There you have it! Susan let me try her creations, I fell in love with them both! I must say, though, the rosey elderflower pucker was my favorite. Happy week of love, my dears!

I like the idea of celebrating loving your life, or something other than the traditional Valentine’s Day love. Not everyone is in a relationship on Valentine’s Day. Thanks for the recipes!
