zodiac sign illustrationPISCES

February 19–March 20

Your intuition isn’t in line with your more practical philosophy this week, due to Mercury in your subconscious sector battling Saturn in your beliefs house. You’ve slowly been learning what you need to know in order to achieve your goals, but the snail’s pace doesn’t sit well with the dreamer in you. Draw on the inspiration and energy the Pisces sun provides, and make peace with where you are in this moment. Your instincts about what’s going on between you and someone close to you are on point, and this is a good time to work through issues around secrets, trust, jealousy and sex. The full moon may shed light on a relationship or coincide with a shift in one. Compromise is called for as you’re asked to balance independence versus dependence and your ego versus others’ feelings.

zodiac sign illustrationARIES

March 21–April 19

With chatty Mercury in your friends sector and outgoing Mars in your relationship angle, a big part of you feels like socializing this week. But another part needs some alone time to process what’s going on inside you. As an Aries, you identify more readily with the gregarious mood, but make sure you don’t give your private side short shrift. Pursue teamwork, partnerships, networking and fun when you feel like connecting with others. Then spend time by yourself to just feel your feelings without trying to explain them to anyone. The full moon may illuminate something about your job or your health—or a project might come to fruition now. A habit, an approach to work or wellness or an element of your daily routine could reach a turning point, necessitating change.

zodiac sign illustrationTAURUS

April 20–May 20

Work and relationships can both go well this week, but they won’t mix easily with each other, so conflict could arise at points where they intersect. Your thinking about a goal or communication with a boss dovetails with the work you’re doing to back it up. This is a good time to devise a plan for achieving something, complete with detailed action steps. In your personal life, you’re able to experience a positive sense of who you are with people and where you stand with each other. The full moon in your self-expression zone could spell a romantic climax, satisfaction in an artistic endeavor or a playful, affectionate mood. An epiphany related to love, creativity or pleasure is also a distinct possibility. A strong craving for personal fulfillment can help you turn the corner romantically or creatively.

zodiac sign illustrationGEMINI

May 21–June 20

With your ruler Mercury in your expansion house, you’re in an optimistic, forward-thinking frame of mind. Mercury is out of sync with serious Saturn in your responsibilities zone this week, so your thoughts about the future may not be meshing with your day-to-day reality. Your hard work will eventually pay off, but in your head you envision your life changing sooner rather than later. You may have a chance to shine if you’ve truly earned it, since the sun is at the top of your chart and clicking with Saturn. Learning, traveling, talking to people with a different perspective or background and mind-opening experiences of all kinds will be especially gratifying now. The full moon reminds you to balance your outer success with a grounded, supportive, comfortable and secure home life.

zodiac sign illustrationCANCER

June 21–July 22

Verbal Mercury in your intimacy house clashes with committed Saturn in your love sector this week, suggesting that a dialogue you’re hoping will bring you closer to someone may not get you the results you’re after. Alternatively, if you’re asking someone to partner with you (or fund you) on a creative project, you could hit a stumbling block there. Conversations with a family member or someone you live with will probably go more smoothly. Believing in your vision and being open to shifting your perspective—combined with taking responsibility for your personal fulfillment in love or creativity—will give you an energy boost. Your ruling planet the moon is full this week, bringing new information to light, busying your mind or increasing the amount of communication in your day. Aim for mental balance now.

zodiac sign illustrationLEO

July 23–August 22

Dialogue between you and a parent or you and a roommate will probably be a challenge this week, since talkative Mercury is in a conflict with sobering Saturn in your home-and-family angle. Your mood is better served by talking to a significant other or close friend—or by working through your feelings while you’re alone in a quiet space. You may have an impulse to assert yourself verbally now, but could run into a power issue if you do. Try not to think in terms of control or winning. Shining an honest light on your own psyche and the inner workings of a relationship is conducive to emotional growth. The full moon coaxes you to balance your own needs and values against those of others. Strive to master the art of give and take.

zodiac sign illustrationVIRGO

August 23–September 22

Your needs are front and center when the full moon lands in Virgo this week, giving you a “What about me?” feeling. It’s a valid question, and you should endeavor to understand your emotional requirements and find healthy ways of getting them met. The trick is to balance your needs against other people’s egos. Thanks to Saturn’s harmonious connection with the moon, you’re able to give serious consideration to how you feel and what you need, and constructive thinking may hasten a personal revelation. In turn, you can communicate thoughtfully with others now, with the exception of coworkers. But if you act in a manner consistent with your values and priorities and are clear about details and division of labor, you can maintain peace on the job.

zodiac sign illustrationLIBRA

September 23–October 22

Creative ideas or thoughts about what would make you happy are squelched by self-doubt or financial restrictions this week, due to mental Mercury in your pleasure sector fighting with constraining Saturn in your worth house. But thanks to just-do-it Mars clicking with Mercury, you can come up with workarounds if you try. With Mars retrograde the next two months, it’s all about finding different ways of doing things. Mars is squabbling with the sun, making it hard to apply the right amount of effort in precisely the right way. Adjust your methods to suit your resources, such as how much energy or confidence or time or money you have. The full moon brings to the surface unconscious needs or feelings related to security. Spend time alone and release something that needs to leave your life.

zodiac sign illustrationSCORPIO

October 23–November 21

Talking to family or someone you live with—or talking about your feelings—could be difficult this week. You need to privately process what’s going on inside you before trying to articulate it. Self-sabotaging behavior may undercut pleasure, and addressing unconscious actions or repressed anger can give you clarity on your mood. It’s important for you to enjoy yourself in order to offset your general seriousness. Romance, creativity, hobbies, sports, free time and fun can all breathe new life into you. Express your uniqueness in some way that ties in with the identity you’ve been working so hard to carve out for yourself. An emotional crisis among friends may coincide with the full moon. Your need to belong and feel part of something bigger than yourself arises, possibly triggering a shift in your role with others.

zodiac sign illustrationSAGITTARIUS

November 22–December 21

If you don’t already meditate, this might be a good week to give it a try. Mental Mercury in your cognition sector has your mind skipping ahead to the future, but timely Saturn in your endings zone has you dwelling on something that needs to get wrapped up before you can move on. The sun in your foundation angle is gelling with Saturn, hinting that some alone time at home to process your emotions and release them will do your spirit good. On the flip side, Mercury is gelling with active Mars in your friends house, pushing you out the door to be around plenty of people and stimulate your busy brain. The full moon could spell drama with your boss, achievement of a goal, a career shift or your feelings coming out in a public way.

zodiac sign illustrationCAPRICORN

December 22–January 19

Your finances, values, priorities or confidence level could conflict with making progress on a new goal or with the limitations of teamwork and friendship this week, when Mercury in your worth house runs into trouble with Saturn in your groups-and-objectives sector. Clear communication and positive thinking will help. Mercury is connecting with doer Mars in your ambition angle, so this is a good time to think about money and priorities while coming up with the best plan of attack for a professional pursuit. With Mars retrograde, it’s not about advancing right this minute; it’s about reevaluating your course of action. You should also be prepared to adjust your tone to a boss’s or parent’s behavior this week. The full moon triggers a shift in your perspective, or a need for freedom and adventure may make itself known.

zodiac sign illustrationAQUARIUS

January 20–February 18

With Mercury in Aquarius, your mind is sharp, but when Merc tangles with roadblock Saturn in your ambition angle this week, your boss may shut you down when you offer your ideas, or having to work within a system of rules may take the wind out of your sails. The slow pace of career progress could also cast a dark cloud over your thinking. Focus on making the most of your talents, getting your priorities straight and figuring out your financial needs and resources. Pursuing education, travel and mind-opening experiences will also improve your state of mind, as will standing up for what you believe. The full moon in your sharing sector draws your attention to what you need from others. It may bring something financial to light or trigger a shift.

“Spend time alone and release something that needs to leave your life.” I really needed to hear this right now – these horoscopes are the best.

These horoscopes are beautiful.

These horoscopes are too negative, and inaccurate. Every week, it says I am going to have conflict with someone, and all my relationships have been peaceful and awesome for the past year.

insanely inline with life this week.

So right on. Usually I anxiously wait until Sunday to read my Free People horoscope but this week has been so busy that I only have time to check it out now. This week has been very frustrating so far. Now at least I have more of an understanding why!

Sage, you might find your horoscope to be inaccurate because you were born on a cusp? Maybe check the sign before and after yours. It might ring more true for you. I have found the Free People horoscopes to be the most accurate I’ve ever read.
