Whether you are in need of a perfect new pair of vintage boots, an antique chair for the room you’ve just cleansed for spring, or just personal design inspiration… Parachute Market has it all. Housing some of the best designers and artists in Los Angeles; Parachute Market takes care in creating an experience for its patrons. Curated by what I imagine to be one of the keenest set of eyes in Southern California… everything this market showcases is the crème de la crème … and really…. the prices are just and fair (no gasping or eye rolling here). The incredible food is created by local chefs, and the music… yes… also is brought to you by carefully selected local artists.
Founded by Coryander Friend in 2013 – a set designer and interior decorator – Parachute aims to display and nurture the artists behind the most inventive and inspirational of all design realms: furniture, home decor, art, and new and vintage fashion. “Parachute Market engages all of the senses to connect the designers, artists and audience with a shared experience and sense of community.”
A day well spent… perusing vintage goods, devouring delicious eats, admiring the swag style all the other goers donned… simply feasting eyes on all things beautiful. A happy spring weekend indeed.
This makes me excited for the farmer’s markets to start back up here in Chicago!

I really need to get my sleepy bum out of bed and finally go to a farmers market. I always hear how awesome they are, but never get up early enough or I forget.
Wow, I’ve never hear of this one! Thanks for sharing!
