The dust of hibernation has settled. Settled so thick and heavy I can barely find the words to write these here thoughts. I’m dusting off the windshield of my mind.
Closing yourself tightly inside – away from the cold – is surely for good measure. It offers much to you; gives way to stowing and reflecting… storing those big ideas for the warm months ahead… but as soon as that sun shines it pretty lil’ face so bright…it’s time to shake it out. Hit the road.
Drive. Fast. With no intention or direction. Drive anywhere and everywhere…. Leaving the dust that’s been heavy on the mind in all the places that will keep it alive. You aren’t trying to leave it behind, but find the places that will help flourish and nourish these reflections.
Nothing like the open road, your best friend, and no plan at all. It’s here that Freedom will dance alongside you in the open nowhere’s of beautiful space.

Mmmhmm… so excited to wake and feel that fresh spring air dancing delicately in through the open window and calling me out to dance the car down the road with good folks searching for wildflowers and the like.
