Our friends at Love Grace sent over this delicious recipe that is just what my body is craving right now. Read on for the recipe and some info on this detoxifying juice from Jake Mabanta, founder of Love Grace!
The body does best with seasonal foods that sprout up just in time to help us renew and refresh ourselves. When I see dandelion greens coming up in the spring I know its time for some liver cleansing with a tasty recipe like this one! Dandelion root tea can be found in most grocery and health foods stores – Traditional Medicinals is a great brand. Cold brew the tea with one bag overnight or heat on the stovetop for 5 minutes and then chill in the fridge. Juice the remaining ingredients, mix with the chilled tea, and enjoy!
Spring Liver Cleanse Tonic
(makes 2 servings)
16oz Dandelion Root Tea
2 medium sized beets
2 large carrots
1 inch ginger
1 lemon

I like the idea of making this with fresh wild harvested dandelion- wild harvested foods (from areas that haven’t been sprayed) are so much more nourishing than purchased foods.
