Lemonade is a summertime staple.
It’s hard to imagine the perfect summer day without picturing a glass of ice cold, fresh-squeezed lemonade in hand. While classic lemonade is absolutely delicious… you know we’re always into doing things a little differently. So here are three fun ways to take your lemonade to the next level this summer!
To make: In a medium saucepan, add peaches and sugar to water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes, covered, then remove from heat. Allow to cool, then mix in a blender until smooth. Strain through a cheesecloth into a new glass and add lemon juice. Garnish with a few peach chunks on a skewer, and serve over ice.
To make: Add lavender buds and cane sugar to boiling water and steep for about 10 minutes. Strain into another glass, discarding lavender buds. Add cold water, lemon juice, and a splash of your favorite gin. Garnish with fresh lavender sprigs and a lemon wheel, and serve over ice.
To make: Combine all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and garnish with extra cilantro and mint.
How will you be drinking your lemonade this summer?
