Monday Quote: Blue Sky

My roommates and I recently discovered a way to get onto our roof.  It feels good to be up that high, and when we scan the horizon, it’s just us and the birds.

We’ll spend time up there, talking, catching some rays, dancing to a beat or two…

But we’ll also just lay there, and look up at the sky. When you’re on that level, you’re that much closer to the clouds and the wide open blue. It’s peaceful, and when you’re still enough, you can catch little forms of life, floating across your line of vision.

I have a feeling that this summer, we’ll never get tired of that roof, or the blue sky above.
