Take 45 Free People girls, one incredible rooftop, and all the right accompaniments, and the result is a magical night under the stars to bid summer one last goodbye.
We couldn’t have asked for a better space to host the night. Brooklyn Grange, a full working farm situated on a rooftop that offers some of the best views of NYC is where we all found ourselves. I think one of my favorite parts was seeing our talented visual display girls transform the setting into an atmosphere that breathed Free People. The table set up itself was something from a dream – twinkle lights, dried flowers, and hand-painted stones were placed just right, and as the sun set and candles were lit, a warm glow filled the space and invited guests to take their seat.
FP Me users, bloggers, store girls, and home office folk mingled over delicious cocktails and appetizers prepared by Nourish Kitchen before the main course was served. It was so fun to finally put names to faces as I met some of the FP Me users. Getting the opportunity to be a part of something like this is truly magical, and I’m so thankful that I got to capture some of the beauty of the night. A big thanks to everyone who helped make this event happen, and to our friends Quiet Life for supplying the tunes for the evening!

Right around every September, when the temperature in Los Angeles rises to very anti-fall triple digits, I fantasize about moving to a far away city where there there are distinct four seasons. Brooklyn is always on that list, and this post totally makes me want to move! Beautiful!
What a beautiful night – can’t even imagine the amazing view from up there! It’s my dream to someday attend one of these events, they always look so magical

I come from an era when roof-top parties were chic and billowy clothing with bells in tow were what the “in-crowd” wore. Some folks called us hippies and we didn’t care.
We were dreamers of light & love approaching every day with a dance to greet the sun and a waltz as the moon peered out amidst the skyline.
The photos played this nostalgic ballad and my heart rejoiced to see these young women. One day they too will be 62 and remember the glory days of their youth.
Im desperate to know the song on the video, if anyone could help I’d be so grateful! Xx
Looks like a lovely end to the summer! September is the best
