I think sometimes we form this idea in our head about what we want our life to look like. Our current situation may be the only thing we can see, or the only thing we want to see.
Life happens at the present moment. There’s no telling what is going to happen by the end of the day, or tomorrow, or even 20 years from now. Stop right now, and think about everything and everyone that is affecting your life at this current point in time – take a snapshot of it all in your head. It’s comfortable, right?
It’s comfortable because it’s what we know. That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s what’s best. You’ll find that as you go along, and your life unfolds, some things may end up different in the end then you ever would have imagined. Different isn’t bad…it’s good, exciting, and a way for you to grow.
It might take some time getting used to, but it always ends up making sense.

there’s so much truth to that! I find that sometimes the happiest surprises result in our dreams not turning out exactly as we have envisioned them but much different while still retaining the true essence of what we wish for….sometimes our spirit has the ideal solution that our ego does not or can not see….
