When Summer Meets Fall

The sun is low in the sky. The temperature is one of pure comfort; neither hot nor cold. Anticipation is in the air. A shift is coming. You can feel it… but it isn’t here yet.

The in-between time when summer flirts with fall… each one giving a little, then pulling back again. This time is precious. Hold on to it. As summer reminds you that it’s on its way out, take this time to do all that you’ll dream of doing once the temperature drops again. Beaches, kayaks, barbecues. As fall gives hints that it’s on its way in, allow yourself to indulge in what’s to come. Cabins, mountains, hikes.

This in-between time brings us the best of both worlds. Embrace summer, embrace fall. They’re both here, just begging to mingle with one another.

This time of is my favorite time of the year. I live in the upstate NY so I get to see the wonderful changing of the leaves so much color. It’s so beautiful. I love your pics Brigette! You guys make my day everyday!

They ARE mingling and it creates so much exciting energy of transition.

Warm Regards,

You are totally right. I love the time when summer turns into fall … perfect weather, that magical golden hour, and yesterday I even saw some fog floating between the fields.
And love your photos by the way! Did you take them with an analog camera? Or did you edit them?
Lots of Love from Germany!

This is my favorite time of year. It always seems to slip by too fast, though — I spent this afternoon trying to soak it all in.

Such beautiful photography. I’m very lustful for fall right about now, though.
