“There is always something to be thankful for.”
Indeed there is. For me, there’s a number of things:
The warm palette of colors that brew in the sky as the sun rises, welcoming the dawn of a new day.
A place of solitude and silence, like the top of the highest mountain.
The creatives that live in this world, inspiring me in work, and play.
Humans… the ones who I call my family and friends… but even those who pass by and somehow make a positive dent in my day.
And then this thing called life. It wouldn’t be the same without all of the ups and downs that come with it. The surprises it brings opens my eyes to the new, and from that… I can grow.
So that’s what I’m working with… but what about you? What are you thankful for?

Yes, I’m also thankful for this and the many inspiring Monday morning posts…I’m thankful for my wonderful fiance, for my beautiful home, for the amazing weather, for creative bursts of inspiration at 3am, for earthen paths in unexplored forests, for old growth trees, for clear blue sunny days, for my low stress high paying job, for lazy weekends, for the perfect wind and waves during a sail in the harbor…. I could go on and on…. I’m grateful for my friends and family and I’m grateful for gratitude since it always makes me feel better to be thankful for all the blessings in my life.
