Attention to Details: Must-Have New Year’s Accessories

Beyond the holiday lights, past the carols and ornaments and wrapping paper, lies an entirely different holiday. One made for glitz and glamour, for bidding the old farewell and welcoming the new with open arms… a night filled with pops of champagne, gold, and velvet.

New Year’s. An occasion unlike any other… made for putting your best foot forward, no matter how the past year has treated you. No other holiday is quite as filled with possibility as this one. Together, we count down the days, hours, minutes, seconds until that intangible shift in the atmosphere. The difference of a fraction-of-a-fraction of a second that signals that it’s time for out with the old, and in with the new. This is the day to go all out and let yourself shine, to pile it on in layers of texture and glitter and glory. This year, celebrate a fresh start like you never have before…

Layers and layers of sequins dance with shaggy faux fur, a contrast of texture and feeling. Ethereal meets a metallic edge as piles of rings play up an eye-catching manicure, deceptive in its intricacy with glittery gold runes punctuating each and every finger.

Get the look: Midnight Manic Mini, Fetchingly Shaggy Jacket, Sky and Stars Cuff, Crescent Moons Ring, Floral Etched Stone Ring, Rune Nail Wraps.

New Year’s Eve is a night made for velvet the color of the midnight sky. Inky black studded with stars, constellations that have seen the passage of innumerable years. Top a velvet jumpsuit with a modern twist on the classic biker jacket, and add a gold and silver take on body art to match. Paired with layers of jewelry, a well-placed flash tattoo is the finishing touch for the perfect night.

Get the look: Wanderlust Metallic Tattoo Pack, Open Back One Piece, Studded Moto Leather Jacket, Romance Handpiece, Lydia Heel Boot, Mega Mix N Match Ring Set, Snake Nail Wraps.

i usually celebrate new years by a wonderfully deep sleep zzzzzzzzzzz ! I usually do wake up at midnight to hear the revelers…but their’s nothing more lovely than a deep holiday sleep in warm cozy blanket with no AM alarm clock set! : )
