Soft. Silent. White.
The first blanket of snow slowly falls over the earth. At first… light. Then a blink, and we enter an alabaster world. Yes, it’s cold, but have you ever seen anything quite like it?
The silence that envelopes the streets welcomes those that venture out to roam freely, and as the flakes float about, one can’t help but admit the beauty in the first snowfall of the winter spell.
Winter — at least — is almost here. This Sunday to be exact. We’ll rise early, but night will quickly approach, and linger longer than any other time this year. It’s the shortest day of the year, which I believe calls for a celebration.
Gather some friends, find the warmth, and say hello to winter this Sunday. Its invitation lasts till March, so might as well get along from the get-go, right?
