Weekend Snapshot: Refresh

It’s the first weekend of 2015, and what better way to use this time than for reflection and refreshment?

I’m cleaning up, throwing out, and setting aside a few hours to check back in with myself. What is it that I want to accomplish in these next 365 days? What do I want to change? How am I going to do it?

One of my resolutions for the new year is to keep it simple — in life, and in style. I’ve always been drawn to an earthy color palette, but I want to embrace more monochromatic looks within that palette. In my opinion, dressing in one color from head to toe is striking, clean and fresh. And, rather than buying a lot, quality over quantity is something I’m going to live by in 2015. Timeless, comfortable pieces, that make me feel good and confident are what I’m on the hunt for.

I think 2015 is going to be a great year, and I’m excited to see what it has in store.

  1. I’m doing my best to cut out fast food and eat better. Also, adding breakfast to my morning routine even if I only have 5 minutes. I’ve thought about cleaning my closet out, but not sure I’m ready to do that just yet.
