On a cold winter’s evening in the heart of London’s Shoreditch, a crowd was gathering for the London leg of #FPLetsMove. Unsure of what the exercise class would entail, you could sense the mix of nerves and excitement in the queue outside. Once through the door though, guests were instantly put at ease with the relaxing atmosphere and field of friendly faces that greeted them. The blank slate of Studio 2 Gallery had been transformed into an intimate and warm space filled with candles, raw food treats, and the latest FP Movement Collection.
Saskia from Naturally Sassy provided some much needed pre-workout nourishment. Specializing in healthy raw food, we had the delights of spirilized raw vegan pad Thai courgetti alongside crispy kale and mango mousse. Proving that healthy food really can look good AND taste delicious!
Jojo Head fronted two cardio workouts, motivating us to get our bodies moving. The class included individual run-focused high energy circuits, as well as fun partner work. The up-tempo soundtrack was created for us by Polly Scattergood and kept everyone smiling.
After breaking a sweat with Jojo, it was time for some refreshment and well deserved healthy bites. The lovely Pandora from Rooted London supplied the tastiest chia seed, cashew and cacao protein balls, washed down by smooth nut milks freshly prepared on site.
It was an amazing experience to know that people all over the world were connecting together for #FPLetsMove and so inspiring to meet so many confident women who are as passionate about Free People as we are! We especially enjoyed meeting PT and fitness blogger Carly Rowena, who gave our guests amazing one on one advice about everything from workout programs to nutrition.
From us to you, thank you for a magical night of movement.
