On The Road: Music To Drive To

The soundtrack to a drive is like icing on a cake. It only makes it more beautiful, and always leaves a sweet impression. There’s a lot of ground to cover when driving across the country, and from one state to the next, each one has it’s own personality. No matter where you are though, music breathes life into your surroundings.

There’s one trip in particular that has had the most inspirational impact on my life. Much like the one I’m on now, but far shorter. When I think back, most of those memories exist in tandem with the songs that played along the way. I hear one, and those feelings of nostalgia come rushing in. Those songs instantly takes me back to that time.

Music has the power to paint pictures of the past. I want to have those same memories when I look back on this trip, so the right playlist needs to accompany it. We’re halfway there, and only looking forward to what’s ahead. Below are the songs that make us roll down the windows, chase our dreams, and never look back. Here’s what we have playing:

Stay tuned for more notes from the road!

I adore road trips (really vacations of all kinds) and a music is an absolute must-have for me! This playlist looks amazing, can’t wait to try it out. <3

This playlist is so fun – the most random and fantastic mix. To have Van Morrison, Gwen Stefani, and Outkast on the same playlist is so funny to me. I relate entirely to your feelings on music and the way it brings you back somewhere in time.

Warm Regards,

Love this! Driving while listening to music is one of my favorite things to do.

I was just fantasizing about roadtripping while sitting in the office this morning, so a road trip playlist is very welcome! Thanks!

Well, I never did a proper roadtrip so I would love to it this year.
Thank you for sharing the playlist and inspiring me!

Lots of hugs, A

What about One Headlight by The Wallflowers and Fast Car by Tracy Chapman? ♥ I’ve been fantasizing about road tripping like crazy here lately. Those are two I would definitely put on my playlist.
