Another year, down.
SXSW 2015 may be over, but we’re just getting started when it comes to recapping everything that happened. Six days spent in Austin is plenty of time to realize how amazing this city is, and it comes to life even more during the fest. By far one of my favorites of the year, I love that SX brings so many different people together to one inspiring (and friendly!) hub. Austin locals are some of the friendliest folk I’ve ever met. Just take a walk down South Congress and count the number of “hello’s” you get from passerby. It’s humbling, and the kindness kept my mood lifted, even through the rain.
I won’t get into too many details just yet, but I will say that this trip to Austin might be my favorite one thus far. There’s something special deeply routed in this city. The music makes you hear it, the food let’s you taste it, and the people help you feel it. It’s good… so good that it keeps you coming back, ready to explore and dive in head first.
