Earlier this week we launched the newest in our swimwear collection, and today we want to give you a peek behind the scenes. I’ve been on my fair share of photo shoots and let me tell you guys, I think I prefer the ones that take place on the beach. Yeah, I do, I definitely do. The sun, the fresh air, salty hair, and tanned skin. The beach, to me, is the most calming sensory overload you’ll ever experience: the sound of seagulls and crashing waves, the smell of saltwater, the consistent and mesmerizing sight of rolling waves, the feel of sand on your bare feet…
So when I was able to join the West Coast team on a few swim and surf photo shoots, I was ecstatic. The vibe was relaxed, cool, and creative, just like how I imagined a Free People swim shoot would go. It was a day of honest hustle and hard work enveloped in laughter and good times. Read on to catch a glimpse behind the scenes. And be sure to check out the “moho” (a.k.a. motorhome), which really is home sweet home for the models and west coast art team whenever they’re on-location for various shoots!
