Before

Step One: Mist a sea salt spray (we used and love Surf Spray by Bumble and Bumble) throughout the hair for added texture and grip for braiding.

Step Two: Start creating one chunky fishtail on either side of the head. Secure each braided end with a horizontally placed hairpin to maintain braid-work. Once braids are complete. Mess them up with more sea salt spray to create that lived-in, messy feel.

Step Three: Begin knotting the two braids together and securing with the previously used bobby pins you used to hold your braids in place.

Step 4

Step Four: Weave in our Dessert Sun Braid Ins into your braids or let them hang loose (like we did here) for that super chill boho vibe. Dance the day and night away swinging your super lightweight, tasseled, beaded hair. The metal clip combs allow for easy, flexible all-day wear.

Step Five: For even more fun, add a little something extra with our all-natural Britelites Temporary Hair Color Chalk. Super smooth application delivers vibrant, sassy color, which washes off with shampoo.

Such a pretty hairstyle, definitely trying it out! But, oh, don’t play your records on a Crosley (unless you hate your records and want to ruin them!)
