Festival Fashion Inspiration at Our #FPFestivalDays Shaky Knees Kickoff

My boots have only just touched the ground here in Georgia, and already Atlanta has me under its spell.

Kind faces, lush scenery, and the promise of two days of music flickering on the horizon… the past 48 hours have been the perfect introduction to this beautiful city. The weekend ahead will surely be a spectacular one, and to kick it all off we celebrated on Thursday evening with an #FPFestivalDays Pre-Party at Free People White Provisions, co-hosted by Cool Atlanta.

As cool evening air ushered out the day’s hot sun, guests enjoyed the most delicious ice cream from Queen of Cream — s’mores was the crowd favorite of the evening — and beer from Three Taverns Brewing while shopping for last-minute festival essentials. Music filtered through the space and out onto the patio, and Shaky Knees was the topic on everyone’s lips: Who to see, when to go, what to wear. Emerging from the dressing rooms, guests could have their tote bags — a festival essential if there ever was one — decorated by Native Bear, and Soul Flowers Floral Cart brightened everyone’s evening with dainty-yet-striking blooms arranged gorgeously in miniature vases.

While weaving between the crowd, I couldn’t help but snap a few pics of the inspiring festival-ready looks already on display. Check out the pics from the event and get inspired below:

I loved the simplicity of this look, worn by Christina, the store manager of our Lenox store here in Atlanta. There’s nothing better than a white maxi, a little denim, and some amazing accessories.

SO HAPPY to see a woman of color as well as women of different sizes! Love Free People but it sometimes gets me down when I don’t see enough representation. So you can imagine how my heart swelled upon seeing these pictures.
