Mercado Sagrado

A day for artists of all types, Mercado Sagrado makes me feel as though I’ve walked into a small piece of Woodstock.

Housing some of the kindest people in the state of California, sharing in music, art, and conscious living. On a parcel of land surrounded by horses, the vendors set up under the trees, selling amazing vintage and handmade pieces including jewels, pottery, home decor, oils, organic foods and more.

Everyone shares in their talents and embraces the differences in people. This place is empowerment, love, and sharing, encouraging whoever it is you want to be and allowing you to share your life and craft to those open to experiencing it.

Light, love, art and health were the moto of the day.

Beautiful! That crocheted tent is absolutely divine! I want one – can you image a whole wall covering?

Ahh, thanks for sharing! I can’t believe I’ve never heard about Mercado Sagrado. It’s a bummer that this year’s event has already passed, but I’m hoping I can attend next year. The guy in the fourth photo is selling some really neat pieces. Actually, it looks like there were a lot of cool vendors this year and the outdoor set up looks so inviting.

Wow, this is nice! I’m curious about the origins of this beautiful market, because Mercado Sagrado means precisely “sacred market” in my language. :)
