Did you know that there is a desert in Washington? Yep, the most northern state… the one bordering Canada. Unfortunately I have to confess that I didn’t. In my mind, the entire state is absurdly green, lush, and the constant smell of rain lingers in the air. So I was surprised to discover that Sasquatch was located in a desert in the middle of Washington. Festival fashion in the desert is always a tricky thing. But at Sasquatch the nights are cool, the daily threat of rain is a real thing, and a tent is the only option you have to lay your head at night. It’s important that fashion out here is functional; lots of layers and knits. The style for Sasquatch is practical and easy. Comfortable and realistic. Simple and down to earth.
