Our homes are a reflection of our deepest selves. They’re where we go to escape, to relax, and where we gather with the ones we love. So it only makes sense that we’d want to adorn our spaces with what inspires our souls and sets fire to our creativity. Our home tours have long been a source of decor inspiration, bringing to light the inspiring places and spaces of our employees and influencers, and today we’re excited to announce one more way of infusing your life with that Free People spirit: FP Sanctuary.
Your one-stop-shop for unique and one-of-a-kind decor items, our buyers traveled the world, from India to our own backyards, to curate this incredible collection of housewares. Pillows crafted from vintage bodices, hand-thrown and completely unique pottery mugs, crochet tassels inspired by far off regions of the world… these are pieces made to be cherished… to be the finishing touch for your space. To give you some insight into how some of these items came to be, today we’re going into detail. Read on and then be sure to check out the full collection.

Bodice Pillows
These soft and inviting pillows were made using remnants of vintage bodices worn by the Lori, a nomadic community found in the Balochistan region of Iran. These bodices are often given as a dowry from the family to the bride.
Mosquito Net Hooks
Inspired by the ornate hand-etched hooks used to hold back mosquito nets in ancient China during the daytime. These hooks were traditionally attached to bedposts in palaces and used predominately by royalty.
Delamo Daybed and Quilted Mini Couch
The upholstery on these two cozy couches is crafted from unique vintage quilts found in India. These vintage quilts were traditionally made by families using their recycled cotton saris, once a family gathered around eight old saris, they sew them together with tiny hand-stitches to use as quilts.

Peacock Hooks
Inspired by Ethiopian crosses crafted from elaborate filigree or lattice work, these peacock hooks are the perfect thing to hold necklaces, hats, and anything else you may need to organize.
Black and White Moroccan Pillows and Pouf
Inspired by beautiful hand embroidered vintage pieces found in the remote villages of the Atlas Mountains, these comfy poufs make a statement in black and white.
Decorative Tassels
These tassels were inspired by the tassels seen on vintage tribal belts worn in the Kutch area of India.

Love all of them. These colorful pillows are simply stunning. You guys inspired me a lot. I will definitely try to redecorate my old sofa with these types of pillows.
I love it! My room is all white and only the decor such as pillows and accessories are colorful. I have candles all over, incense, essential oils. I love great aromas and making my room look like my little sanctuary.
