Nestled in-amongst the buzzing streets of London’s Soho, newly opened bar and restaurant Bo Drake allowed us to transform their charming space in to a celebration of FP to launch the the new King’s Road Pop Up Shop.
The enchanting aroma of eucalyptus and Siberian pine-scented candles lingered, as flames flickered onto the gleaming faces of guests who chatted and enjoyed moments spent with friends and fellow Free People fans. Wildflowers, surrounded by splashes of glitter and scatters of tea lights, made the urban space seem somewhat dreamlike. As the warming hustle of chatter filled the room, the sound of laughter and clinking glasses added to the uplifting spirit of the evening. Gallery style photos hung from the walls exhibiting a handful of images from the August Collection, whilst everyone enjoyed flicking through the pages of the August Magalog.
FP Me girls, media, bloggers and influencers mixed and mingled over delicious canapés specially prepared for us by the chefs at Bo Drake, including a bespoke vegetarian menu which appetized those who fancied a fresh light bite. The bar team mixed up the prettiest cocktails, aptly named ‘The King’s Road Cooler’ and ‘The Royal Blush’ which everyone enjoyed whilst soaking up the lively atmosphere that the night had to offer. People spilled outside the venue on to the street, making the most of the warm summer’s evening and as the night drew to an end and guests were bid farewell, all were eager to visit the King’s Road Pop Up and experience a Free People boutique for the very first in the UK.
