We partnered up with one of our favorite NYC salons to bring you something exciting all month long!
Last Friday, I had the pleasure of spending my day at one of sleekest salons in all of NYC, Suite Caroline. Nestled on a cobblestone street with a brick lined interior and airy ceiling, the salon’s lofty soho vibe is more than welcoming, much like the fine people who work there. It makes sense that a few of our favorite FP hairstylists are a part of the team when they’re not making magic for us in Philly. To bring you guys something special with the revamp of the Tressing Room, we spent a full day at Suite Caroline, getting tips and tricks on how to use some of our favorite products!
To kick off our month-long partnership, stylist Johnny Haeger is showing us how to style up The Ear Cuff To Hair Chain. Head into Suite Caroline any time before August 31 and get styled with the Sparks Hair Color or a Free People hair accessory. Pay for the styling, get the product complimentary! Pretty cool, right? Check out the how-to below, and stay tuned all month for more tutorials with Suite Caroline!
Step 1: Wave all hair with 1 1/4 curling iron.
Step 2: Shake out curl and use Oribe Dry Texturizing spray .
Step 3: Create side part.
Step 4: Starting at hairline, french braid back to just behind the ear. Finish braid with elastic.
Step 5: Slightly back comb crown to add volume.
Step 6: Apply accessory.
Voila!

I love all the free people hair posts! I just really cannot relate most of them, as they seem to be designed for long hair. any possibility of throwing in some more diversity? a post for us girls who have super short hair?
Does anybody understand how Johnny was curling that girls hair?? If so, do you want to be super, super nice and do a little tutorial- clap, clap clap!!!
