A visual diary of a Northeast coastal town.
Labor Day is always so sweet. Getting an extra day added on to the usual 2-day weekend gives a little more room to breathe and the opportunity to depart for somewhere outside of your normal boundaries. I found myself in Northport, NY, a little town on Long Island’s North Shore. It’s crazy how different the terrain changes in an hour’s drive. One second the Big Apple’s skyline is to the left, then in a blink you’re gazing at skipper-filled harbors and desolate shore. Northport is undoubtedly an unexpected oasis, at least for me as I’m not too familiar with Long Island. It’s got your typical northeast charm mixed in with an old little sea town… a beautiful old little sea town.
Below is a visual summary of how long beach days paired with good company played out for me.
