Sunday Spotlight: Best *Dress*ed

Find out what we’re loving this week!

Sunday Spotlight is a series where we choose and discuss our favorite things. Maybe to talk about a new catalog item that just hit the site, or something we just can’t live without. This week, it’s all about the dress. Check out what’s in our spotlight!

Casablanca Dress

Despite the fact that I’m in jeans 90% of the time, my true wardrobe soulmate will always be dresses. Long length, Depression-era silhouette (that could also pass for early ’90s), the option to bare a bit more… the Casablanca Dress somehow manages to exemplify everything I look for in a go-everywhere, wear-any-season dress. Dress it up with a western bootie or wear it casual with white Chucks. Either way, this button-up dress looks fantastic.

Perfectly Victorian Mini

Short length, boxy silhouette, groovy embroidery…psh, need I dream of more?  This dress reminds me of my mother…she would have worn this in her vibed out beachside days in the 70s. Come spring, summer, fall or winter, this dress will be my # 1.

Smocked Printed Fit and Flare
Uummmm, did someone say pockets? I’m not the most frequent dress wearer but, if there’re pockets, I’m game for just about any dress…it feels cool and casual. The floral print is perfect for spring and fit and flare is a flattering style, yet comfy. My favorite thing about it, though…. I can wear my Chucks and still feel girly.

I’ve currently been obsessed with boots. Which is very strange, cause i’m not a shoe girl at all. I’d much rather run around barefoot. I love all of these looks, the dresses are so pretty!

The depression-Era maxim dress is my fave. Kicks, military boots, booties, oxfords … make it very versatile.
