Embody Love

Life’s purpose should be about one thing, and one thing only…

This post comes from our blog intern, Emily.

Love.

To love, to embody love, to give love, and to be love.

Love can mean a lot of different things, it has a million different interpretations. And as cheesy as it sounds, love really is what makes the world go round. It’s all that matters at the end of the day. After all, aren’t we all just seeking to love and be loved in some shape or form? It doesn’t matter how you interpret love. All of it is beautiful.

I’m a sensitive person. I don’t look upon this characteristic as mushy, girly, hormonal or blah blah blah. Being tender and open is beautiful and I see it as allowing myself to be receptive.

“Don’t let someone steal your tenderness. Don’t allow the coldness and fear of others to tarnish your perfectly vulnerable heart. Nothing is more powerful than allowing yourself to be truly affected by things.”

Being love and being inspired by love (in any way whatsoever) is a really beautiful thing. I don’t necessarily mean be inspired by a couple walking down the street, or finding yourself in a perfect relationship. Yes, that is love. But I’m talking more about falling in love. With the way the sun hits the leaves. Fall in love over and over again, 20 times a day. Fall in love with a smile from a stranger. Fall in love with your friend, because they are inspiring and encouraging, and a light in your life. Fall in love with the oxygen your plants are filling your home with. Fall in love with the goosebumps a song has the ability to send through you. Fall in love with the way a child laughs. Fall in love again, and again. Because it feels good! Gratitude and pure love, for the simple things. And for it, soon you will find yourself embodying nothing but this love that you are allowing yourself to be filled up with.

Live to share it. We are all one, and everyone deserves to feel an endless amount of love, over and over again. It’s what keeps us going. This world needs a little more compassion swirling around so let yourself bring some of it.

Love, contentment, service to others & gratitude.
That’s what should be taught in schools. The world would be a much better place if we looked to love, if we were content & grateful for what we have & if we were more concerned with doing things for others than our own selfish gain.
This generation of the selfie & social media had made us become such a self centric society.
It’s time to shift focus. Thanks for your beautiful reflection

I couldn’t agree more. And I’m so greatfull that I finally understood that. Loving everyone and everything is the key to happy life. I had to teach myself how to actually be in that state of love, even if someone irritates me. That’s really difficult. You need to be very present and aware of feelings coming to your heart. Sometimes it’s so easy to let judge, disregard, hate in. Love is everything.
