In The Kitchen: Summer Smoothie Bowl with Sun Potion

Today, as we continue our video series “In the Kitchen,” we’re sharing one of our favorite ingredients from one of our favorite beauty brands, Sun Potion’s Ashwaganda.

Sometimes called ‘Indian Ginseng’, ashwaganda is a super antioxidant prized for its health-boosting benefits — strengthening the immune system, reducing stress, and balancing hormones. Combined with maca, nourishing açaí, and other tonifying superfood additions, ashwaganda provides the boost your body has been looking for in this gorgeous smoothie bowl.

Ingredients:

1 tsp Sun Potion Ashwaganda

1 tbsp acai

1 tsp maca powder

2 cups baby spinach

2 frozen bananas

½ cup coconut water

1 tbsp coconut oil

½ tsp chia seeds

¼ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp ginger

1 tsp vanilla extract

Toppings:

Hemp seeds

Dried coconut

Pepitas

Blackberries

Goji berries

Kiwi

Place all ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender and blend until smooth.

Spoon into a bowl and add any desired toppings. Enjoy immediately, preferably while soaking up some natural vitamin D.
