2-4

Yep, lemons, sweet potatoes and beets.

2-3

1. Lemons.

Essential to many healing formulas, lemons can’t be beat for giving you glow. They provide a potent  — and alkaline — vitamin C BURST that aids in collagen formation, as well as detox.

4-5

2. Sweet potatoes.

Rich in beta-carotene (a naturally-occurring pigment that, when digested, is converted into vitamin A), sweet potato can help to smooth the texture of your skin, as well as balance oil production.

6-3

3. Beets.

Beets are one of your liver’s best friends — high in antioxidants, they are key in aiding waste filtration. They help stimulate the flow of lymph (a fluid containing infection-fighting white blood cells) throughout your body, making both the inner and outer you a healthier you.

I definitely need to eat more sweet potatoes and beets! Thanks for the inspiration. Who doesn’t want glowing skin?
