Ask: Nicole Granato

Fielding some of those hard-to-ask questions about PCOS, hormones and women’s health…

Nicole Granato is a certified Health and Wellness Coach with a passion for helping people enhance their overall quality of life.

Our first question comes by way of Brigette…

Hi Nicole!!

I have a million questions to ask, but mostly I think I’m just looking for some direction.

I am so sure I have hormone issues, but conventional doctors seem to think not. I have constant pelvic pain (getting worse), excess facial hair, acne (especially on lower face and jawline), digestive issues, and just general internal discomfort. Like, if that doesn’t scream hormone issues I don’t know what does. But my hormone levels are “normal” and my pelvic ultrasound came out clear.

I eat mostly organic, real foods. No sugar, no dairy, no wheat. I’ve done my research and take the supplements that I feel I need.

I’ve seen many alternative doctors. I’ve done acupuncture, ayurveda, applied kinesiology.

Yet I’m still in such daily discomfort that it often brings me to tears.

What. The. F*ck.

For those who have totally altered their entire lives for the better, who have tried and continue to try a million different things, but hardly see any results… what is the next step? Where do we turn from here?

Thank you so much for sharing your story with the FP audience. You’re helping so so so many people who need it.

Hi Brigette,

Thank you so much for responding to this post and reaching out. It sounds like you do indeed have a hormonal imbalance. My personal recommendation — simplify everything you are doing. Sometimes when we try so many things at once, our bodies can become even more irritated by the fluctuations. It may seem like nothing is working when it may have only been the change or lack of time we allowed our body adjust to that change. Considering your hormonal chart came back positive and your pelvis looks good, I would say that you may have a hormonal imbalance triggered by a sensitivity to the different methods you are incorporating.

With symptoms like yours, there could be a chance you are suffering from a candida overgrowth. I would recommend starting a candida cleanse along with an organ Detox for two weeks. This blend, in particular, has helped countless women who are suffering from the same issues you are struggling with, some diagnosed with PCOS/Hormonally Imbalanced and not.

This is a great way to begin cleansing your body and refocusing your approach. You can schedule a free consultation with me any time to review the programs that I use to help women identify the best methods for their healing.
