FP Gather chef Greg Glowatz shares with us three recipes that include the healing powers of elixirs. Maintain good nutrition and help restore your body with these tasty must-haves below.

Antioxidant Avocado Mash

Ingredients

2 tbsp Inner Beauty Boost Elixir

1 Avocado

1 tbsp lime

1 pinch salt

Method 

Take the seed from the avocado by cutting it in half. Scoop the flesh from the avocado skin. Mash the avocado in a bowl with a fork. Mix together all four ingredients.  Serve on toast or with any kind of chip and top with vegetables and fruit. Consider pairing with tomato, mango, sprouts, avocado or pea shoots.

Body Tahini and Lemon Spread

Ingredients

2 tbsp Body Inner Beauty Powder

1 cup yoghurt

3 tbsp tahini

Lemon zest from 1 lemon

Lemon juice from 1 lemon

1/2 tsp sea salt

Method

Whisk together all ingredients in a bowl. Serve on toast or with any kind of chip and top with vegetables and fruit. Consider pairing with radish, feta, pomegranate, capers or cucumber.

The Super Elixir Chick Pea and Spinach Spread

Ingredients

2 tbsp The Super Elixir

2 cups chickpeas

1 cup baby spinach 

 1/2 tsp sea salt

4 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

Method

Pulse all ingredients together in a blender or food processor. Serve on toast or with any kind of chip and top with vegetables and fruit. Consider pairing with feta, broccoli, asparagus, mushrooms or sliced olives.
