Soho Pop-In: Gemini Full Moon Ritual & Workshop

So here we are in December (WTF?!), and with yesterday’s Full Moon in Gemini the Cosmos is paving the way for a full-on end of year review.

2017 has officially been a year of “Alternative Facts” (since Kellyanne Conway first used the phrase back on January 22) — and since Gemini is the sign that rules research, reporting and analysis, we’re being invited to consider anywhere the actual fact facts might have gotten a little out of whack over the past 12 months.

The reason being that the Full Moon also coincided with Mercury going retro in the opposite sign of Sagittarius. Gemini’s ruling planet (which makes Mercury the planet that governs communication and thought processes) will be retrograde though December 22, opening a three-week window in which to get deep and dirty with our fact-finding.

Because Sag has only got time for the Truth (yes, with a capital T). Which means your Full Moon mission, should you choose to accept it, is to use this period to clear up any miscommunications, to make amends, and to get realigned with YOUR story.

It’s amazing how much headspace we give away to other people’s versions of events, to our own paranoia about what might have been said behind our backs, or to imaginary future outcomes. 

Think about all the ways those brain cells could be put to work instead! Can you already feel how much lighter life gets, and how much faster things can move and manifest, when everything’s out in the open?

This might mean having some actual, IRL, uncomfortable-as-f*ck conversations with people. Not to mention with yourself! Like, were they really being the asshole, or was it you projecting all your issues onto them?

A less confrontational approach might be to write an email, writing out the FULL STORY as you see it … taking into account how they may have seen it also. Whether or not you press send is up to you. Getting it down in black and white may be enough to help you get clear.

One thing is certain — however you decide to go about your investigations, your intuition has always got your back. Even if learning to listen, to trust, and then actually act on what you “just know” in your gut is a practice in itself, as we’re not taught that our own inner knowing is enough.

Newsflash: it’s actually everything. The Gemini Full Moon also made a perfect trine (positive aspect) to Neptune, the planet that rules our intuition, reminding us that we already have access to so many of the answers we seek.
