July 23–August 22

You’re able to zoom in on something or someone and really focus early in the week, courtesy of the moon in your depth house gelling with a few other planets. Whether it’s a relationship or a project, you’re feeling invested. When the moon enters your exploration sector midweek, restlessness strikes and you’ll have an urge to get away. If travel isn’t in the cards, keep life interesting by breaking up your daily routine and engage your mind by learning something new. With Mars and Uranus doing battle, an argument could be looming, particularly if someone is jockeying for position. It’s not easy to work through differences during Mars retrograde, but engaging with another individual is probably the best way to make something happen now. After the moon rises to your chart’s peak, you could feel like you’re in the spotlight. Do a little self-promotion if you’re in the mood, but choose your words carefully when speaking to colleagues; a Mercury-Pluto dustup can make you sound controlling.

August 23–September 22

Your interactions with other individuals are charged with feeling, and you may react to people in an unconscious, habitual way while the moon crosses your one-one-one angle. Try to be aware of what triggers you and think before responding. Once the moon segues into your depth house midweek, even more intense emotions could come out and you might feel a strong sense of attachment. Mars in your efficiency corner is sparring with Uranus in your exploration sector, suggesting that although you’re determined to accomplish a lot, you’re bound to get distracted at some point and need a break. An urge to do things your way can make teamwork unfeasible, so try to work independently if at all possible. Once the moon sails into your exploration sector, you’ll have a yen for something different. Anything from cracking open a new book to socializing with unfamiliar people to changing your route home from work can stimulate your mind.

September 23–October 22

With the moon crossing your interpersonal angle midweek, your need for companionship becomes even more pronounced, and you’ll feel better when you’re connecting with people one on one. You’re quick to show your emotions during this phase and inclined to support others who need you. It’s not easy to pull back from all these feels and assess situations objectively, so when Mars in your fulfillment zone challenges Uranus, you may not know what to make of a development in your personal life. An old affair might start up again or a new one could come out of left field, and as the moon segues into your depth-and-merging house, the emotional temperature rises even higher. Uranus is always a wild card and when it combines with Mars, a shocking plot twist is possible, so you may need to wait for the dust to settle before you decide where you want to take this.

October 23–November 21

Your feelings may take a backseat to practical concerns while the moon passes through your efficiency corner, but try not to repress them entirely. If you force them down inside you, you might build up resentment and become critical or bitter. To express this moon placement in a positive way, you can shift your attention to matters of work, health and organization. Since Mars is squaring off with Uranus, if you’re in a cranky mood, it’s likely to impact a relationship. Keep tabs on your underlying feelings and don’t take the bait if anyone provokes you. If you maintain control over your impulses, you can probably avoid a petty argument. The moon crosses your one-on-one angle later in the week, bringing your feelings above the surface and helping you express them to people you care about. Spend quality time with the VIPs in your life and lean on them for support if you need to.

November 22–December 21

You’re wearing your heart on your sleeve this week as the moon sails through your self-expression house. The need to be yourself and to be true to your feelings takes precedence, and if you’re involved in a romantic relationship, the passion between you could feel stronger now. But remember that you’re feeling your own emotions, and the other person’s emotions are innately separate from yours. Guard against rash decisions and words spoken in haste when retrograde Mars in your thinking-and-talking corner jostles with erratic Uranus. Try to slow down and ask yourself if you really must say or do this immediately. Can it wait until mid-September when Mars and Uranus have a more promising do-over? With the moon moving into your efficiency corner toward the end of the week, you need to feel useful and might opt to solve a problem, go on a cleaning spree or focus on improving your diet or fitness regimen.

December 22–January 19

When the moon dips down to your foundation angle midweek, your need for peace and quiet takes over. Simple comforts like good food will hit the spot and a retreat from the outside world will give you space to reflect. A Mars-Uranus skirmish can trigger the urge to splurge, so if you’re trying to stick to a budget, forewarned is forearmed. Your impulse to go after what you want isn’t the problem in and of itself; the main problem is that the object of your desire may not be worth the gamble you’re willing to take in this moment. The moon’s entrance into your joy sector puts you back in the mood to see people and could heat up personal feelings. But Mercury’s dissonance with Pluto nudges you to choose your words very carefully in a close relationship and to stay out of an obsessive loop in your head. Mistrust and manipulation can do damage.

January 20–February 18

You might be dealing with your possessions in some way as the week begins, but your focus shifts to communication midweek when the moon dances into your thinking-and-talking corner. You’re not as interested in superficial conversations and information gathering as you are in meaningful dialogue now. Your thoughts and feelings may be all jumbled together, making it easy to speak from the heart but hard to separate fact from fiction if you’re highly impressionable. Mars is still backpedaling through your sign, and his current beef with your ruler, Uranus, can give you a hair-trigger temper, so try not to react too quickly. Your moods are in flux, and you might not know whom or what you’re really annoyed with. You need some personal space and the freedom to change things up. As the moon sneaks down to the base of your chart, you might want to spend more time alone relaxing and contemplating what’s going on inside you.

February 19–March 20

The week starts off with the moon in Pisces, so you’re in the mood to be with people and feel in sync with them. You’re sensitive to the atmosphere around you and exuding a warm, nurturing energy. If you’re feeling at all insecure, you may become a bit needy, but your emotional generosity should balance that out. When the moon moves into your worth zone midweek, you might feel more attached to what you value most and could get possessive if you’re called on to share or compromise. Any purchases you make now will be emotionally driven, and you might not even know why you feel a strong need for something. A Mars-Uranus clash can instigate harsh words and hasty choices, so you should be careful not to say or decide anything you might regret later. Mars is traveling retrograde for a few more weeks, causing plenty of misfires, and we’re all being called on to slow down and think about what we’re doing.

March 21–April 19

You’re tempted to keep your feelings to yourself early in the week, with the moon tucked away in your spirit corner. But if you’re hiding something not only from others but from yourself as well, it can control you without your awareness. To process your emotions, you might confide in someone you trust or write in a journal. When the moon charges into Aries midweek, you’ll have much more desire to connect with others and experience a sense of belonging. Objectivity won’t be your strong suit, but you’ll have an easy time tuning into everyone’s feelings and expressing understanding. Your ruler, Mars, is picking a fight with Uranus, making teamwork quite tricky. If you’re worried about losing what you have or not having what it takes, collaboration will be all the more difficult. Your resources and confidence aren’t rock solid now, and trying to work with others can exacerbate insecurity. Try not to get defensive over things that ultimately won’t prove to be very important.

April 20–May 20

As the week gets underway, you’re in a social mood, thanks to the moon’s presence in your group zone. You have a need to see your friends now, so prioritize squad time. When the moon sneaks into your soul corner midweek, you may want to withdraw from the world and engage in a spiritual practice, self-care or personal reflection. Sifting through your private emotions and finding a healthy way to release them will do you good. With Mars provoking Uranus in Taurus, your encounters with higher-ups can be a powder keg, and the more independence you’re able to carve out for yourself, the less need you’ll have to rebel against authority. Your urge to assert your individuality probably won’t go over well with people in power. Once the moon shows up in Taurus later in the week, you’ll feel more in step with others and able to connect easily. A burst of energy can provide a sense of renewal.

May 21–June 20

Your emotions and ambitions are intertwined early in the week, as the moon hovers at your chart’s high point. Whatever mood you’re in, it’s apt to make a public appearance, so stay aware of your feelings, especially when interacting with an authority figure like your boss. After the moon segues into your group zone midweek, you’ll want to spend time with your crew and can easily bond over shared emotions. You’ll feel like you’re on the same wavelength and have each other’s back. Mars is shooting daggers at Uranus, though, putting you in danger of blurting out defensive words if it seems like your beliefs are being challenged. Take a breath and weigh your words before you speak. And avoid the temptation to take a risk on a whim; instead, do something unfamiliar and liberating that doesn’t require you to go out on a limb. You may need some alone time to recharge your battery over the weekend, with the moon hiding out in your solitude corner.

June 21–July 22

Your ruler, the moon, is dancing through your exploration zone as the week begins, giving you a hankering for a change of pace. You’re not seeking a wild adventure, but you could do with a little something different to shake up everyday life. Wake up your mind by varying your routine. Take a mental journey by seeking out sources of knowledge; even an eye-opening documentary can do the trick. When the moon ascends to the peak of your chart midweek, your emotional sensitivity may prove useful on the job because you’ll detect what your boss needs from you and will be able to gauge the atmosphere at work. Mars is throwing shade at Uranus, which may pit your personal life against your social life. Perhaps your squad doesn’t approve of someone you’re involved with and you’ll balk at peer pressure. Or you might hook up with a platonic friend and wonder what will happen next. This pairing can generate chaos, so proceed with caution!
