Don’t Leave Your Wellness Routine Out in the Cold

The transition from long, light-laden days to shorter, seemingly shuttered ones, can test even the strongest of us. Luckily, there are a few things that can ease the stress of the impending sea change on our bodies…

Thinking about changing up your wellness routine? Although thoughts are already shifting to new plans in 2019, it’s never too late — or early — to try something new. Introducing five of our favorite new products, which could easily become your whole new regimen:

Dry brush.

If you’re not dry brushing yet, now’s the perfect time. Brushing your body is said to yield countless benefits, including unclogging pores, softening skin, bettering blood circulation, even reducing the appearance of cellulite. And, as cold weather approaches, it’s a great way to exfoliate! Simply start at your feet, and work your brush upward with large, upward strokes, for however long you like.

Moisturize.

Seasons rarely change without wreaking havoc on skin… most notably this time of year, making it dry and chapped. Noto’s Agender Oil at your service, made with soothing vetiver and lavender suspended in organic hemp oil. It’s great for body AND hair…and, as the name implies, perfect for ANY GENDER!

Hydrate your lips.

Salt & Stone’s California Mint Lip Balm might be your favorite pocket pal this year. Organic + hydrating + minty = awesome.

Get your greens.

A tried-and-true FP favorite, 8 Greens’ 6-pack is worthy of packing a serious wellness punch. Each tube holds 10 dissolving tablets comprised of: spirulina, kale, spinach, chlorella, wheatgrass, barley grass, aloe vera and blue green algae. In other words, 8 Greens can undoubtedly give fall/winter colds a run for their money.

Be happy.

And, for anyone who suffers from a general cold-weather-induced malaise, consider healing your mind from the inside out. Your Tea’s Happy Tea is made from black tea, Mei Gui Hua (Rose), Gou Qi (goji), Ju Hua (chrysanthemum), Shan Zha (Hawthorn Fruit), and Ning Meng (lemon). Happy Tea is touted as a little boost of calming, stress relief… count us in.
