3 Products to Liven Up Winter Skin

In this face-off between brisk, windy weather and your body, the odds — and January Labs — are definitely in your favor…

Seasonal skin blahs have extremely inopportune timing. Seemingly out of nowhere, your usual glow trades places with the dull, dry, flaky face now staring back at you in the mirror. But it doesn’t have to be a bad thing. A change of seasons can serve as a reminder to check in with yourself, to ensure skin is fed so it’s strong, healthy, and able to function properly and look its best.

Your skin is complex, but your skincare regimen doesn’t need to be. Here’s an easy 3-part routine featuring January Labs that is great for all skin types, especially as we head into the colder months.

Sulfate-Free Cleanse

A cleansing routine is key to keeping your skin bright, healthy and free of pore-clogging enemies. Wash with a cleanser that won’t strip your skin of its natural oils and moisture. January Labs’ Pure & Gentle Cleansing Gel contains nurturing ingredients like aloe vera, green tea extract, vitamin C and fruit extracts to heal and reduce inflammation along with sodium pca to attract and bind moisture to your cells. And, it’s free of sulfates that dry out and weaken skin.

Hyaluronic Acid Moisturizer

It’s time to max out on the moisture. After cleansing, your skin is ready to soak in and maximize power ingredients. Their Moisture Renew Mask is a leave-on moisture bomb that packs a 45% hyaluronic acid content to strengthen, hydrate and plump skin and give you a healthy glow. The squalene in this moisturizer also softens skin and provides even more hydration benefits.

Tonic Mist Addiction

Last but never least, get your glow on! The Restorative Tonic Mist creates a protective shield that locks in moisture, makes ingredients like hyaluronic acid work harder, balances your pH and offers you a glow even in the driest environments. Nurturing ingredients like aloe vera and calendula extract heal skin while sodium pca, olive oil and rose plump, hydrate and soften it. A touch of witch hazel keeps bacteria at bay.

Oh I’ve never tried hyaluronic adic products before.. sounds interesting.
I’ve gone the au natural route. I usually use African black soap to cleanse and then I lather on a thick layer of raw avocado…let it sit for about 30 minutes, then rinse it off. Sometime I add honey.
My skin has been glowing. All blemishes clear up quickly.

Only thing is black soap can be drying if you don’t follow it up with the avocado paste
