Thanks (For) Giving: Philabundance

The Philadelphia-based nonprofit provides hunger relief to nearly 90,000 people each week. Consider joining us this Thanksgiving in supporting Philabundance’s vital mission.

A member of Feeding America, a nationwide network of food banks leading the fight against hunger in the United States, Philabundance is the Delaware Valley’s largest hunger relief organization. Last year alone, they rescued and distributed over 25 MILLION POUNDS of food to the local community. As staggering as that number is, however, the need for sustenance is always greater.

As many of us begin planning our Thanksgiving festivities/menus, their work begins to mean something slightly different — it serves as an important reminder that there are adults and children in EVERY community who require our assistance, who would welcome any chance to celebrate the holiday like you and me. And so, Free People is donating 100% of proceeds from FP Movement purchases made on Thanksgiving Day (so think about saving your leggings purchases for Thursday!) to aid Philabundance in their cause.
