Office Style: Meet Allie

For this week’s Office Style, get to know our Assistant Buyer Allie through some of her favorite songs…

“When people ask me to describe my style, I panic, because I find that there isn’t one specific aesthetic that really captures who I am. I put no limits on my expression. I’m not the type to say “I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing that.” I wear what I want, when I want based on how I’m feeling and what I want to say. My style is an expression of my mood and self. It allows me to compliment the different aspects of my personality. To help articulate these looks, I found it most fitting to use lyrics from some of my favorite songs.

“I’ll share this love I find with everyone, we’ll sing and dance to Mother Nature’s songs”

– Jack Johnson, “Upside Down”

She’s confident and happy. Shapeless dress, Doc Martens, and hoop earrings. Mascara and eyeshadow subdued by cat eye sunglasses. Her face accentuated with soft curls. Toting a straw top handle bag, and likely somewhere by the water humming John Mayer to herself. I love her because she radiates joy.
FP Wishlist: Poinciana Maxi Skirt, Waikiki Shell Collar

“They tell me think with my head, not that thing in my chest”

– The Chainsmokers, “This Feeling”

She’s dressed for an event, party, or a night out with friends. Something simple and silky paired with classic black pumps and overstated accessories. Sporting a dark purple sheer lip, favorite pearl ring, and a bright colored statement bag, attempting to channel Carrie Bradshaw. I love her because she knows all the words and lets everyone know.
FP Wishlist: Mix & Mingle Platform Shoe

“It’s no surprise to me, I am my own worst enemy”

– Lit, “My Own Worst Enemy”

Distressed Levi’s denim button-down, graphic tee, ripped jeans, and dad sneakers as she channels her 90’s angst. Loves finding new music and artists to listen to. Always in the mood for Wawa. Known for her dry sense of humor and watching John Mulaney stand-up videos. I love her because she’s authentic and nostalgic.
FP Wishlist: Oui Pullover

Wearing: the Dr. Martens Leona Platform Boot  , and the Esmeralda Printed Skirt.

“Slow down you’re doing fine, you can’t be everything you want to be before your time”

– Billy Joel, “Vienna”

In her comfort zone with a floral pajama set, fuzzy slippers and glass of red wine. Watches “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” and cries through her charcoal face mask. Reads poetry in her room, hazy with lavender oil. Wishes she could be vegan, but loves cheese too much. I love her because she’s grateful.
FP Wishlist: Amethyst Facial Roller, Sunday Riley UFO Ultra Clarifying Face Oil

“Cause you’re a sky, cause you’re a sky full of stars; I’m gonna give you my heart”

– Coldplay, “A Sky Full of Stars”

Takes a walk on a cold winter day  wearing an oversized sweater, skinny jeans, combat boots, and a graphic beanie. Bucket bag slung over her right shoulder, bundled in a pea coat with a hot tea in her fingerless gloves. Listening to The Beatles or Coldplay. Loves to travel to new places, both near and far, and playing photographer. I love her because she has a never-ending eagerness to learn.
FP Wishlist: Riley Chain Belt Bag in Silver Metallic

“I’m on the right track baby I was born to survive”

– Lady Gaga, “Born This Way”

Feels unstoppable and ambitious. Wears a pencil skirt, T-shirt, and statement jacket, finished with with classic black booties for heavy mileage. Inspired by Lady Gaga and fellow strong-willed females. Dreams of starting a non-profit some day. I love her because she can do anything.
FP Wishlist: Normani Bias Printed Skirt in Cheetah Print

Wearing: the Parfait Pullover Sweater
