The Selfie Edit: Jenny Ong

But… is it selfie-worthy? Your skincare friend, Jenny Ong, puts Pai and lilah b. to the test…

Welcome to Selfie Edit, a new beauty series which features our fave FP girls sharing their most honest reviews of FP Beauty + Wellness products. First up is Jenny, author of neonblush, who so graciously sampled 3 of our beauty and 3 skincare items. Here’s what she had to say:

Pai Skincare Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil

Love this oil! Rosehip is such an important component in skincare — it contains a good concentration of of fatty acids and vitamin A to help with moisturizing and reinforcing “bouncy” skin. I apply it after moisturizing at night and also like to pat it on after makeup to get that nice glow. It also smells good!

Pai Camellia & Rose Gentle Hydrating Cleanser

This product is amazing — it cleanses really well but still feels the utmost gentle. I appreciate the different oils (castor, camellia, and almond) in this, because oil is such a beneficial ingredient for cleansing — it grabs all the dirt without stripping your skin.

Pai Chamomile & Rosehip Calming Day Cream

This does what it says it does — it’s a “feel good” lightweight cream that’s perfect for morning application. Love the calming scent of chamomile, too!

lilah b. Palette Perfection Eye Quad in ‘b. stunning’

I’m a minimalist when it comes to makeup, and I love that lilah b.’s palettes take that into consideration. This quad of hues perfect for highlighter, eyeshadow, eyeliner and brows is a godsend. I really value versatility in my makeup products — if I want to use a darker brown (designated for my brows) as my eyeshadow or contouring, I can; if I want to use the highlighter as an all-over shimmer for my lids, I can do that, too. It’s all so buildable.

lilah b. Divine Duo™ Lip & Cheek in ‘b. fearless’

This looks super pigmented at first glance, but I love how the formula allows you to “work it in,” like you can build on it as long as you apply lightly. It’s so versatile! I apply this on my cheeks and sometimes eyelids with a very soft finger, and then more on the inner part of my lips (and then feather out and follow up with lilah b.’s Tinted Lip Balm in ‘b. cheeky’). It’s a serious time saver.

lilah b. Tinted Lip Balm in ‘b. cheeky’

Subtlety is my favorite. This lip balm is perfect in that respect. It makes my lips look freshly flushed and moisturized, a glow-from-the-inside-out kind of look. I like layering it with their Divine Duo™ Lip & Cheek and feathering out the swipe of ‘b fearless’ towards the edges of my lips, and just touching my cupid’s bow.
