We, along with many others, hold Erewhon in the highest esteem. For over 50 years, this independent and family-owned grocer has curated and personalized the path of many on their quest for wellness. Needless to say that we were floored to have the opportunity to work with them to highlight a few simple recipes that you can adopt into your own journeys, while giving yourself the perfect spring reset. Simple, with minimal yet clean and functional ingredients. Today we bring you their second recipe – a refreshing spring beauty tonic equipped to nourish your body, mind and spirit — the benefits of which include healthy skin, hair, nails; energy- and stamina-boosting.

Spring Beauty Tonic

Makes two 8oz servings.

Can be served hot or cold… Erewhon recommends it cold for a refreshing drink!

Ingredients:

6 oz Gynostemma tea

1 tbsp MCT oil

1 tbsp pitaya (dragon fruit) powder

1/2 tsp He Shou Wu

1/2 tsp pearl powder

1/2 tsp rose water

1/2 tsp pine pollen

1 tbsp Xylitol

Method:

Brew tea for three minutes. If loose, strain out tea leaves. Add tea and all remaining ingredients to blender. Blend on LOW for at least 30 seconds. Serve to your liking, either hot or over ice. Garnish with rose petals and enjoy!
