Office Style: Meet Breezy

“Do your work & do it well.” To me, it means that if you do your work and work on yourself to the best of your ability it’s all going to fall into place. No need to get frustrated when the tides don’t go your way because something else is in the making.

Your position at Free People…
Assistant Stylist.

Describe your personal style…
Feminine and classic.

What makes you feel confident?
I love feeling sun kissed — I feel most confident when I have spent the whole day/weekend in the sun. My skin warm and too tan to worry about makeup. On these days I feel like I can conquer the world.

Who is your style icon?
Babe Paley! I am a sucker for old school classic glamour.

Favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of my job is seeing everyone’s visions come to life on our site!

What are your beauty + wellness must-haves?
I keep my beauty routine to a minimum. Quick and easy! I love a good sunscreen/mascara combo! The following is a list of items I use daily!

Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen

Eyeko Black Magic Mascara

R+CO Waterfall Moisture Shine Lotion

Sunday Riley C.E.O Rapid Flash Brightening Serum

Sunday Riley C.E.O Protect + Repair Moisturizer

What do you do outside of Free People?
I really enjoy boating and being on the water. Being born and raised in Southern California, I’ll take any chance I can get to be by the beach & in the water.

If you had to wear one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
A black t-shirt, a good pair of jeans and white sneakers. This is my go-to and the ultimate staple outfit.

Your favorite (upcoming) trend…
Tie dye!

Wearing: the Dr. Martens Hurtson Chelsea Boot, the Praying Necklace, and the Galaxy Bar Necklace

Best concert you’ve attended OR dream concert you’d love to attend
The best concert I’ve attended was at my local hometown bar, O’Malley’s, in Seal Beach, California. Nothing beats being with a large group of your best friends from high school, singing along to classic rock in the front row.

Most embarrassing outfit you’ve ever worn.
Boot cut True Religions with a pink Juicy jacket and gold ballet flats. I wore this probably once a week in 8th grade.

One piece of advice you’d give your younger self.
1 1/2 years ago my great-grandpa passed away at 104. In an interview, he was asked what advice he would like to give to his family for generations to come. He said “Do your work & do it well.” It has really stuck with me, and I wish my younger self could have heard this while in school and starting my career. To me it means that if you do your work and work on yourself to the best of your ability it’s all going to fall into place. No need to get frustrated when the tides don’t go your way because something else is in the making.

What’s the first thing you’d do if you won the lottery today?
Buy a beach house and boat in California for my family and friends to enjoy!
