Office Style: Meet Christina

Our Senior Planner of Intimates is casually confident, and casually apologetic for singing in the car… What else does Christina like? Only one way to find out…

Your position at Free People…
Senior Planner of Intimates.

Describe your personal style…
Very casual and laid back. I grew up at the beach so I like to think the way I dress has a lot to do with that; simple tees, jeans/shorts, flip flops and the occasional dress. I really like to be comfortable and would rather get an extra half hour of sleep then spend that time getting ready in the morning

What makes you feel confident?
Singing while in the car… Sorry for anyone ever in the car with me –I am not a good singer. 😊

Who is your style icon?
I don’t have a specific style icon, but I am always so impressed with my sister. If she likes something and thinks she will look good in it, she will rock it with confidence.

Favorite part of your job?
My favorite part is definitely the people. Everyone I work with is so smart and I feel like I am always learning something from my team.

What are your beauty + wellness must-haves?
Youth to the People Superfood Eye Cream
Sunday Riley Good Genes
Sunscreen — I make sure to put it on every morning.
A very large water bottle.

What do you do outside of Free People?
I am really into running and cooking, which luckily go hand-in-hand. I have been running since I was in middle school; it has always been a big part of my life and I think it is the best way to clear my head. I also love to cook and spend a lot of time on the weekends trying to create a new recipe or meal prepping for the week ahead. I have a vegetable garden that I started from seeds on my back patio that I can’t wait to incorporate.

If you had to wear one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be?
My Rainbow Flip Flops. They are a summer staple and my current pair is perfectly broken in.

Wearing: the Ellie Tee and the Beach Front Espadrilles

Favorite place you’ve ever visited and why.
Paris is one of my favorites. I love the culture and architecture, as well as the cheese and the wine! I was recently there this past fall and my fiancé proposed along the Seine River after our last dinner there, so the city will always have a special place in my heart.

What song would describe you best?
I don’t think I can pick just one so I’ll say any good 80s song that gets you singing and dancing. I like to think I am fun and upbeat… like most of the songs from the 80s.

Most embarrassing outfit you’ve ever worn.
Pretty much every “going out top” that I owned in college.

One piece of advice you’d give your younger self.
Don’t worry as much and focus on the present — everything will work out the way it is supposed to.

What’s the first thing you’d do if you won the lottery today?
Plan a really nice, long vacation on a tropical island where I could do nothing but relax in the sun all day.

What’s in your freepeople.com shopping cart?
Youth to the People Moisture Cream
Ava Jumpsuit
We the Free Lou Lou Tee
Wrangler High Rise Skinny Jeans
High Rise Econyl Legging
300 Court Trainer
