Office Style: Black on Black
Last week’s office style was all about white looks, and it just so happened that everyone this week was wearing the opposite — black on black! There is something so chic about wearing all black. It reminds me of that quintessential city-rocker girl. Finishing off with black leather jackets, beanies and boots, I was really digging how edgy the office was looking. It was nice to see the juxtaposition of last week’s lightness to the darker side of things this week. Read More
Sage Erickson Visits Free People
Last Thursday, Free People had a very special office visitor: professional surfer Sage Erickson! Sage stopped by for a few hours en route to New York to check out the office and try on some FP product. I was excited to meet Sage since I grew up in a family of surfers and was curious as to whether we have traveled to some of the same surf spots over the years. As soon as I was introduced to her, I was taken back by her natural beauty and charismatic personality. Dressed in a reworked vintage dress she designed herself, with her hair pulled back in a low bun, she has a personal style that is elegantly effortless and carries herself with a cool confidence. She is so full of life and one of the most down to earth girls I have ever met. Read More

Office Style: Summer Whites
During the summertime, I always stock my closet with a ton of white pieces. Some of my favorite ensembles are when I put on white from head to toe. The girls this week around the office had that same idea in mind. I loved all the mixture of light white tops paired with pants and skirts. See how they wore white in this week’s office style! Washed Ashore Nails
When it comes to painting nails, I feel like I always need something more than just a plain color. I like the excitement and surprise nail art can add, making your nails an essential accessory to any outfit. On Saturday, I took a day trip to Long beach Island, New Jersey, and was really inspired by the gradient of colors that was created when the ocean hit the shore. I wanted to replicate this by using a sponge technique on my nails with coastal colors. Since our Washed Ashore e-book just dropped this week as well, I thought this tutorial was quite fitting.
