While I personally am not ready to drop 20$ for one of these little apple cozies, I do think they are a really cute and cool idea! No more bruises, I suppose. I love the leaf embellishment also!

This video is just beautiful; it features stunning photos of Congolese women by photographer Finbarr O’Reilly. There are also a few words about their distinctive hairstyles. It’s interesting to see a little something about the women of Congo, since usually one only hears of the violence there.
Dressed in sheepskin coats and hats, locals in Nuanquan China celebrate the Lantern Festival each year by flinging molten iron at a wall to create beautiful showers of sparks. The tradition reportedly started 4 or 500 years ago when a blacksmith was too poor to buy fireworks to celebrate the festival. A little dangerous, but so so beautiful! Check it out!
I came across these on Made you Look. Neat, right? I can’t decide if I think they are legitimately from the 70’s or not. Perhaps! Either way, I like them, and that they’re “films.” A tiny drop more of information at Made You Look.
This quick little time-lapse video of a thunderstorm is so awesome! I especially love the planes racing by and the lightening! It’s part of a whole set of time-lapse videos of nature that I saw on Wired. They were all really cool! See them here.
