This video from wlevin on YouTube is hilarious! Passover’s over, and wouldn’t it be neat, if you could use all the matzah that you didn’t eat! I especially loved the matzah dog house! Enjoy…
dried flower easter eggs
These gorgeous Easter eggs were decorated by Pam of Gingerbread Snowflakes. She hollowed the eggs first (tutorial for that here) and then used Mod-Podge to glue some flowers she had already dried onto the eggs. They sure do look beautiful!

delicious
Yum! This Butterless Almond Cake that Angry Chicken made the other day looks like the perfect breakfast. The recipe she used looks really easy too – almond paste, sugar, flour, eggs, and a pinch of salt – simple, and yummy! I can’t wait to try it!
make a compost bin!
I simply couldn’t resist mentioning the article on how to make a compost bin that was recently posted on Craftzine. Though composting is something you can get into any time, I feel like spring cleaning is a great time to start something like this! It’s really easy too, and it seriously cuts down the amount of waste coming from your home, besides making all your trees and flowers happy! Plus who doesn’t want to feed cute little worms?! sealpelt
These Sealpelts by Vík Prjónsdóttir are so much cooler than snuggies, in my opinion! They look so cozy and fun!

edible crackled colored eggs
These special cracked colored eggs really caught my eye! I love them, they’re so pretty! Barefoot Kitchen Witch has an easy how-to based on Chinese Tea Eggs, which are a relatively common street snack in China. Perfect for Easter!
dancing at liverpool street station
Okay, so this is an ad for T-Mobile, but it’s really cool! They hired some dancers to just start dancing at a certain time in Liverpool Street Station, and everyone else sort of started to join in! It’s awesome- my favorite part is people’s reactions to the sudden dancing! I wish we all just danced around more…
dogs that look like people
If you’re looking for a way to while away the afternoon, may I recommend Dogs Looking Like People, a little blog entirely devoted to cute pictures of dogs doing human-like things. Or sometimes just being cute. I got the above pictures from there – they just tickle me pink! Enjoy…
logos
These creative logos made by Wolff Olins really amuse me! I love the pretty flower one of course, but who doesn’t love plastic farm animals? More logos on their Flickr.
Via for me, for you.
clear canoe
I’m not sure if any of you are fans of canoeing, but I think you’ll agree that this clear canoe is awesome! One of the best things about canoeing is looking at everything around you and in the water. How awesome would it be to look right down under your feet as you’re going along?! There’s also a clear kayak, which is pretty sweet. Both can be found right here.

candy sushi – yum!
I can almost taste these little candy sushis right now! Yum! Mommyknows originally created these for her daughter’s birthday party as both a craft activity and the party favors – but I think they would be a fun activity (not to mention fun to eat) any time! Plus they look really cute! Check out her candy sushi how-to to make your own tasty set!
summer store display 2009 – DIY!
Pictured above is the newest display in our lobby – which also happens to be the newest display in our stores! This display will be in all the Free People stores by next week, and we love it! Our Visual Display Team has been working hard for weeks to make all the pictures and accessories to go in each store, and we got Beth to show us some tips and tricks for making our own little displays! Check out the video below!
Thank you Beth!
